Dr. John Yan

John Yan is CEO and Co-founder of Inknoe, which he founded in 2015 to build educational technology tools for teachers worldwide. Before that, he spent 8 years as a researcher at the National University of Singapore, publishing papers in top-tier journals and speaking at international conferences. His passion for creating simple, elegant products for educators led him from a research career to entrepreneurship. Most recently, he launched Edcafe AI in 2024. He writes occasionally about ClassPoint product updates, interactive online teaching strategies, and new features designed to improve classroom engagement.
